Simplify 8(R + 6) - 2R.

So the first thing you do is distrubute.
8(R+6) - 2R = 8R+48-2R = 6R + 48
Answer is 6R + 48.

okay first lets distribute the 8 to the R and the 6
Now we have (8R+48)-2R
then we need to combined like terms
8r-2r=6R
So we are left with 6R+48
